Bloominescent
Bloominesent are a pair floral sculptures suspended over Moss St between Howard and Folsom in San Francisco. Each flower is folded and coated by hand in a holographic Dichroic layer that will filter the emitted light (and reflected light during the day) based on the position of their view and changes its color dramatically in different perspectives. Inside each flower is a custom high power programable RGBW light fixture that allow colorful illuminated patterns dance across the array and illuminate the street below. The largest flowers are 3ft across and 7ft tall.
