San Francisco Skyline depicts my view of the city from Oakland, my home for 9.5 years. The city contour was hand cut into a length of  Electrolumincent Ribbon and electrified and set on a textured piece of acrylic to portray the calm bay water.  The San Francisco Bay Area is a hotbed for artists working in emerging media and technologies. This is where I discovered my passion for Light Art. It's where I made my first illuminated sculpture, met like minded arts, and learned about new  techniques and technologies. San Francisco Skyline is an homage to this period in my like.
