Vitreous was inspired by a hand injury that prevented me from living life as I once did. I realized like glass, by body is as strong as it is fragile. Made of three layers of glass: bones - nerves - veins. Each layer is surrounded by illuminated Electro-luminescent Wire.  The light enters the perimeter and bounces in between the two polished surfaces of each layer and attaches to the rough surfaces carved by the sand blaster.
